Dear Mountville Community Members,
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our former president, Paul Rossi.
Paul joined the Mountville Fire Company No. 1 in 2012. With his experience as a volunteer firefighter in New York, he quickly took on the role of company president in 2013, serving proudly in this capacity for almost a decade.
Though he sustained life-altering injuries in a training accident in 2015, Paul remained dedicated to the company, continuing his role as president through 2021.
Paul’s passion for the fire service was unparalleled, and his commitment to Mountville Fire Company No. 1 and the community showed through in all his endeavors. He was focused on community outreach and member recruitment, always making an effort to ensure that everyone felt welcome at the firehouse through events like Cookies with Santa and the Santa Caravan.
To Paul’s family, please know that your loss is profoundly felt by all of us.
