The Mountville Days Carnival is sponsored by the Mountville Fire Company No. 1. This is our largest fundraiser event of the year and this event allows us to continue to support the community and provide emergency service protection to the residents we serve. It’s no secret that the cost of doing business is increasing all around us and this is no different for the Fire Departments. We maintain the same bills and services a normal business would such as water, Sewer, Electric, Mortgage, Vehicle loans along with purchasing specialized fire gear. Did you know that to full equip a firefighter with protective equipment needed to do the job is over $6,000.00 A PERSON.
Yes, HOWEVER this is discouraged. We are encouraging all teenagers to be accompanied by an adult, and the ride vendor DOES reserve the right to refuse sale of ride tickets if there is not a guardian present. We want this to remain a fun and enjoyable time for our community and ask that teenagers be supervised while at the event. Any child that is caught acting inappropriately or misbehaving will be asked to leave the carnival ground without warning and will not be permitted back on the grounds for the duration of the event.
Yes, we will have a dedicated lane for handicap parking only directly at the entrance, but in order to park in those area, you MUST have a visible handicap placard or license plate visible at the time of entering the parking lot, or you will be directed to general parking.
Animals are not permitted on the grounds during carnival hours.
No, there is no entry fee for the event. It only costs money to purchase tickets and food and other items.
Parking is by donation – there is no required payment or set amount required to park – the donations you make to park the vehicles is what helps support the operations of the Mountville Fire Company. This allows our organizations to continue to do the great work they do! We appreciate the support and the donation – Additionally this year we now have VENMO and PayPal so you can scan our Venmo or PayPal account and make donations that way also!
Parking is located in the parking lot off Spring Street – Please follow the drop off signs if you are planning to just drop someone off.
Penn Valley Shows does have the ability to sell items using credit cards – they do have a processing fee associated with credit card purchases. Some of the food and other vendors may or may not accept credit cards, but there will be ATM’s available on the grounds to get cash if needed.
Yes, there are ride all night wrist bands available on Wednesday and Thursday ONLY. The cost of the wrist bands is $30.00.
No, there are no presold tickets. All tickets are purchased during the event hours at the ticket booth located on the carnival grounds.

Long lines, Confusing lines, and lot of clusters, with this new venue change, we have doubled the available space for our vendors and attendees, and made parking much easier… And No more parking on the big grassy field 😊
Wednesday and Thursday the event starts at 5pm and goes until 9pm, Friday 5pm until 11pm, and Saturday 3:00pm until 11:00pm.
Yes! The carnival is rain or shine, however some rides and live music preferences may be effected or closed due to weather.
